1-YEAR HEALTH & GENETIC WARRANTY
The Sellers certify that the puppy you purchase is in sound health at the time of the sale to the best of our knowledge and has been given all vaccinations and workings stated on the vaccination record provided to the buyer(s). We do our best to provide the new owner with a healthy puppy. The buyer will be responsible for further vaccinations and boosters.
The following stipulations must be adhered to in order for a replacement to be made:
Official report from one (1) veterinarian states that, without a doubt, the puppy has a genetic defect that will cause a shortened life to the puppy, must be sent to Lemhi Puppies along with the phone number of the vet. The documentation must be forwarded to us before a determination will be made.
The Sellers reserve the right to confirm the diagnosis with a veterinarian of their choice. The Seller will not be responsible for any expenses. This warranty applies only to the original buyer.
We cannot control the exposure you puppy encounters after leaving here. Puppies sometimes stress when adopted and moved to their new home. This stress can be brought on due to the move, change of diet, too much handling, not enough quiet time, or not eating properly. This stress can also bring on things that are dormant such as but not limited to: worms, ear mites, colds, hypoglycemia and/or coccidiosis, and/or giardiasis. These conditions are all treatable and do not warrant replacement.
There is no guarantee on the color or size of puppy now or as an adult.
The following are NOT covered by this guarantee: Reimbursement for veterinary expenses, external parasites, such as ticks, fleas, or ear mites, internal parasites, such as intestinal worms, or their effects (almost every puppy has some sort of intestinal worms; although we have wormed your puppy regularly, it only takes a few days for him/her to pick up another “batch”) That’s just a part of puppyhood, which is why a regular worming schedule is recommended.
We highly recommend that your puppy be spayed or neutered. It is your ultimate responsibility to take good care of your puppy and provide adequate food, water, and veterinary care.
Hernias, umbilical or inguinal are occasionally present in puppies. If surgery is required we provide $100 to cover the costs of the surgery. Most will be outgrown, if not they can be easily repaired at the time of spaying/neutering.
